*Our 2021-2022 RCIA program will begin Wednesday, October 13, 2021. As COVID-19 continues, we want to be sensitive to people's concerns for safety and also the desire to gather in person. If you are interested in RCIA, please fill out the form above, and we will look for creative ways to support you in your journey of faith.
The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) here at the Cathedral parish is an evangelical ministry designed for the catechetical and spiritual formation of adults seeking to be received into full communion with the Catholic Church.
Our syllabus that outlines our formation and instruction through the course of the year essentially is the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
Those enrolled in the RCIA program will learn:
For its curriculum, our RCIA class pulls from the Symbolon program on FORMED.org, Bishop Robert Barron's Word on Fire digital resources, and our own priests, deacons, and religious at the Cathedral parish.
Even though our RCIA class structure is primarily for adults seeking to becoming Catholic or receive their sacraments, we also welcome Catholics who simply want to learn more about their Faith as adults.
